Would you date a guy who is like 3 inches shorter than you?
I don’t want to sound shallow or anything but I really like this guy that I’ve been talking to but he’s a bit shorter than me. I definitely cannot wear heels anymore when I go out with him, but besides that, I sometimes feel wierd because I have always dated guys who are taller than me and I’m 5′ 5”…it makes you feel like you’re protected when the guy is taller… but i don’t know. what should I do?

It’s your decision whether or not he’s worth the height difference. I know I could never do it, but that’s just because I’m picky.

how old are you? boys take longer to reach their final height than girls do. chanses are he won’t stay shorter forever.
But I sure would have- it would’ve made me feel taller! He’s have to be pretty short though- I’m only 5’4".

WOW! you’re only 5’5 and he’s shorter than you. TO me that would not work. My mother dated a guy who was 5’4 and she is 5’7. Whenever we went out in public it seemed like people looked at us wierd. honestly i would NOT date a guy shorter than me, because i like feeling like my boyfriend can protect me, and i dont think i would feel like that with a guy like that. lol

I can never date someone who is shorter than me. I am 5’7", which is tall for an Asian, and have always been on the heavier side. I once went on a date with a guy seemed nice when we were talking online and then I met him – he was 5’5" and skinny. I know for some people it doesn’t matter but they’re probably more secure about their physique than I am (admittedly!). When I date someone I do want to feel protected but moreover I don’t want to feel huge around him! So it all depends on your security with yourself and really how much you like the guys.

No… I personally wouldn’t, but everyone has their own tastes. If u like him, dont let it stand in the way, it may look a bit weird, but if u like him, then it shouldn’t matter.

Its all about self confidence, if you lack that, you gonna find a lot of excuses to not date him or anyone.
