Why don’t we see many caucasian men dating african american women?
Even though the sight of a black man with a white woman is common?
um i vote for personal preference.

I see them all the time where I live. It depends on where you live too. I have aunts who are married to caucasian men.

The sight of a Black man with a White woman is hardly common; we (Black men) comprise less than 7% of the U.S. population, and most of us date/marry Black women. It only seems more common because people are likely to make a fuss over it. Dirtiest looks I ever got resulted from going on a date with a White woman — the ire from the White men was exceeded only by that from Black women.
OTOH, Black women make up slightly more than 7% of the U.S. population, and most of them date/marry Black men. But when a White man dates a Black woman, no one gets bent out of shape about it and it consequently flies under most people’s radar.

I think it’s because of the sterotype that Africian American women are difficult to deal with and have attitude. A side from that, I have no idea.

Dating out of one’s race is still considered taboo. Women will date black men for a variety of reasons: a rebellion against the norm, rebellion against their parents, for curiosity or , in the faint chance (which I have personally known), that the person is a really nice guy…oh..I forgot…some women think black men have bigger penises…I work in a hospital…they come in all sizes from all different races. I have met some beautiful black women…why i did not date them..I do not know.
If you could wait for maybe 1000 years, with all the interracial mating..we will be all the same.
