“independent” means being able to financially support oneself. It has nothing to do with not wanting a mate. Many women(all races) watched their moms tolerate bad behavior from their dads& watched her stay because she did not work. Dependency is a bad place to be.Battered womens shelters are full of dependent women. It’s good to know if hubby goes, wifey and kids are gonna be alright! How can that be a bad thing for anyone?All men want their daughters that way but not their woman. WTF?

Lots of men walked out on their families during the depression because they could not take “grannys” nagging. Women look to men to provide and protect. When they fall short,the women are pissed. I don’t think that will ever change. Besides, men back in the day looked for work. They did not play video games & smoke weed all day while the woman slaved away!. When men are worthy of loyalty and support, they get it. Successful men have supportive mates. Scrubs and bums don’t !

However, based on stats in regards to life expectancy,prison,unemployment,mental illness,poor health, one could easily say God does not favor BM.
