Yeah some of my friends think its an awkward combination, but some think they come together well.

to be honest…if you two love each other and are fine with it…then why should it matter to what others think? this is between you and her and no one else….if your friends arent happy for you then screw them for not being supportive…

My husband and I are a perfect match. I don’t think race has anything to do with it. I dated plenty of white men before I met my husband and none of them matched the way way he does with me or treated me half as well as he treats me. It’s all about what’s in your head.

What does it matter? Interracial marriages are no big deal. They are quite prevalent these days. If the couple are in love what does the color of their skin matter? Why cant we just see a couple when we look at them…rather than a label…its sad really that you even asked the question. Just shows human kind has a long way to go still….

The skin color is irrelevant, though I guess it may impact social consequences in some regions of the world more than others.
Otherwise I’d be more concerned about who they are as people, and other things like their social dynamics. On a practical level, if relatives have issues for any reason (skin color, religion, etc.), that’s going to matter far more than what strangers on Yahoo Answers think of skin color matching and nothing else.

Some people think that "black guys" and "white girls" make a ghetto couple most of the time in this generation. I don’t know about you, but i’m not racist. That is up to that white/black couple to decide, not the whole world or yahoo answers. That is similar to the gays and lesbians. It is up to them, there’s nothing wrong with being gay or lesbian or being a different race! This is just what I think. Of course I know black and white people, and I know a few gay people. Nothing’s wrong with being different, and gay people are actually pretty nice.
