what is 35+ , professional, british men’s attitude to dating?

do british men of this age usually prefer to find someone permanent for marriage etc or is it still for play?

I am just trying to understand because I am indian and most indian men in early 30′s prefer to find the one.

pls help.

My parents are Indian too and I am a British female. I think that, for British men, the culture is very different.
It is hard to tell which ones are out to play and which ones want to have a serious relationship. It really depends on the man I guess and his personality. I think that where an Indian man may be prepared to wait for sex with a woman until they are married, an average British man would want sex at least after 2 months (not every one, just most)
Where they have dating before marriage, Indian men may have arranged marriages or their parents may be expecting them to marry when they are in their 30s so they find a woman fast.
I prefer to be careful because some British men will chat me up because they "never had Indian before". I find that analogy very insulting.

I don’t think we set out with an agenda like that. It would be nice to find "the one" but we’ll see what happens.

I’m Pakistani and i find that our men even at the age of 35 are not willing to setttle down, or maybe i just keep coming across guys who are players. It’s hard to say if a man is looking for something long term or not. I say bring it up in the first few conversations and make it clear as to what you’re looking for so that he doesn’t waste your time

    good luck hun:)
