What do African-American men think about white guys dating black girls?
I was having a discussion with a friend and I mentioned that I like to date african-american women and he asked me if it was a "slave fantasy" for me.
I was quite offended at first but I then I just realized that everyone has their own opinions – and I explained to him how that never even crossed my mind.
What do African-American men think about white guys dating African-American women?
It’s more White Males who are narrow-minded about dating outside of their race. If that wasn’t so, look at how common it is to see Black Men dating or marrying outside of their race. Blacks as a whole are more willing to open their hearts to any race. As long as their sister or daughter is treated well. I’m glad there’s more good-looking, intelligent White Males like you who are open-minded enough to date Black Women. Unfortunately, the majority of White Men are affronted with a lower mind set and aren’t open to change. Deep down there may be some attraction but most White Males are influenced by their family and friends. Oftentimes, regret comes along the way when you don’t follow your heart. There’s a stigma about Black Women that need to be addressed and the debasement of Black Women by White Men is part of it. In History, Black Women were deprived of their innocence and as a result, stereotypes of ugliness and promiscuity, just to name a few are labels that are difficult to remove. You come across as an honest, kind hearted gentlemen and I’m sure you’ll be able to find a Black Girl who’ll be interested in dating you.

I personally don’t really care. You can choose to date whoever you want, you shouldn’t be worried about what a few blacks guys said because they don’t represent all black males. This is a free country and you’re allowed to date anyone you want no matter what race or background they are, the typical black guy white girl or w/e doesn’t really care anyways

This is 2007. It’s been 140 years since slavery. I think it’s a bit ridiculous to bring up slavery at this point. Why can’t you just be attracted to some African American women?

Some don’t like it, and some don’t care. I’ve gotten stares, and even had confrontations, but most guys don’t really care, I don’t think.

The majority of mixed marriages, or dating in the southern states goes just one way. 99.9% of the time when you see mixed couples in the south it is always a black male with a white female. You rarely see it the other way.
If I were to start dating a black lady in the area I live I would probably get burned out within 48 hours,or shot. White male and black lady does not exist here.

I personally dont believe in interracial relationships. Whether it be black men with white women or white men with black women. I always found it interesting that white men would disapprove of interracial dating, and say how nasty it is. But the truth of the matter is. There would be no lightskinned "african people" if it had not been for your grand and great -great grandfathers, raping countless black women because they thought they could. I do believe there are similarities between the two races with regard to life experiences but I don’t think a white man can console a black woman and be the strength that she needs on a day to day basis. I also dont know why any black men would actually want to date a white women. Some of them are somewhat attractive, and while I could never ever bring myself to being intimate with one. I could understand why some of my weak minded counterparts would consider sleeping with one. UGHH. I digress, but being in a relationship with one, and sleeping with one of them, I would have to say are 2 different things. But, if you like it, although I think it is absolutely repulsive, Go for it. It doesnt affect me either way, I just dont believe it is right, or should be done. But, people are people, and they will do what they want to do.

As i hope you know not all Black people think alike ,some may not care if you dated papa smurf as long as you are happy ,some will get angry and yell out (obscenities),some will hit on your girl in front of you,or some will just stare like you are an alien with three heads it all depend on the people and are open their minds are and how much cultural exposure they have had in their lifetime
If you mat a girl you really like and she is Black and you guys are dating you should not care what other people thinks ,her opinions only should matter and if she is dating you Go for it !!

Its 2007 for goodness sakes, date who you want. As long as its the opposite sex.
I myself as a black male prefer black women too, but can only attract white ones for some reason.
