What are the best cities for young professionals to live?

I am 29 and looking to relocate to a city that has:
progressive thinking
plenty of white collared jobs
entertainment
intellectual people
great dating scene

you would love new york!
chicago would be nice too

plenty of opportunitys come from both of those citys
