Many women just have no idea what to do with their natural hair. They resort to the easy but more disasterous way out, that is the introduction of perms, relaxers, texturizers, dyes, weaves, and etc.
It’s hard growing up in a society that tells you that you should be natural and beautiful. But when you dedicide to let your hair out (kinky, afro textured exposed) the same men, boys, women, condemn you for it. Our society is OBSESSED with STRAIGHT European textured HAIR!!! I mean on the one hand can you blame black women and children for wanting to emulate these styles. We are told that it is beautiful, and PERMING your hair is the SAME as wearing FAKE HAIR!!! Yes it is the same, that is NOT the original TEXTURE OF YOUR , therefore it is JUST as fake.
Im not knocking weaves and perms, I mean there are some advantages such as being able to change your hairstyle frequently. But dont forget about your own natural hair styles.
This is also for black men that use texturizers –believe me, that is where this aLL began. Please read up on the history of chemicals on African American textured hair. See that the women did not START this fad.
This video is to help you understand that your hair is your hair and you can NEVER hide it for long.
