Do black women of the lower economic status find it hard to find black men to date as professional black women?

I always read stories about how hard it is for the professional black woman to find a man how about just your ordinary blue collar working black woman what her percentage of finding a black man to date and marry. I can never find articles on that line only about professional black women, all black women don’t have professional degree, and I find myself find it hard to find a black man and I’m not highly professional. Just an ordinary working woman.

No, I don’t think so. Usually lower class women choose or settle for men that are poor or have no prospects so the men for those women are readily available.
Upper class, educated women are not looking for those types of men. They want someone on their level or above and that’s where the problems lies.

From what I see a lot of professional black men date outside their race (I don’t get why), but I used to date a black girl, her dad was an engineer, and his wife just worked at a church. So yeah, it’s possible!

    Good luck :)

Well, one, they’re a black women and two, they have a higher income. The issue is that men want to be the head of the household/more dominant in the relationship but the women have more power because of income so it makes them feel less of a man, and not to mention, socially, black women are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to relationships… Put those two factors together and we have an issue… My parents are an example of that. My mom makes twice as much as my dad and my dad can’t handle my mom being in charge financially. They fight all the time. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if I was a professional black women and married blue collar just as long as they don’t try to control my money.
