Teen Issues Today: How to Deal

Parenting teens is often filled with turmoil and stress. While very few parents will truthfully say that there was no strife while raising their teenager there are ‘tricks’ to making this time of life a wonderful adventure.
When thinking about parenting, teen issues seem to pop up as some of the toughest. Teens have passed the relatively calm years of grade school but aren’t into the adult years yet. Teens struggle to figure out where they are in life and who they are.
Unless you’re an expert in parenting, teen problems may be overwhelming. Teens pull away from their parents, leaving parents wondering exactly what’s going on in their teens life. Issues like sexuality, peer pressure, drugs, alcohol and self esteem crop up at different times, making it difficult to know how to help the teens. Parents may feel out of the loop, knowing there are things going on but unable to reach their teen verbally in order to help them.
From relationship abuse to peer pressure to drink, teen girls are dealing with more than they can handle.
Mean Girls
Most teen girls have come face-to-face with “the popular girls” or the powerful clique at their school—or they might be a part of one. When teen
girls act out their emotions on other girls, it’s a sign they are insecure with themselves—more so than the girls they tease.
As you progress in parenting, teen concerns become less and less. Teens usually figure out who they are and who their friends are. Teens also begin to figure out what they want to do in the future and they become less present oriented and more future oriented. Experimentation with drugs, sex or alcohol often continues with some teens and will continue to be a source of concern to their parents. When the teen gets their driver’s license, they become more mobile than most parents would like them to be. They go to parties and engage in risky behaviors.
Relationship Violence
It is now estimated that one in four teenage girls has been hit by a guy on date. A lot of times we check out from thinking and so if you were to really look at all of his behavior and think about it, it would be hard to say that’s loving behavior.
You kind of stop knowing what you know. You can’t save him. You’re at risk. It’s your self-esteem that’s at risk. To add to issues of parenting, teen sexuality issues are becoming more out in the open now than they have been in the past. More teens state they are bisexual, gay or experimenting—often dating people of both genders. This is
more common in larger cities than it is out in rural areas but, with the advent of the Internet, teens are dealing with sexuality issues on the web.
Fortunately for parenting, teens pregnancies are down and teens are being more responsible for their sexual activity than ever before. Some of this could be related to the fact that teens can get birth control now without a parent’s permission at a low cost clinic or even at their own clinic.
Teen pregnancy is rarely a desirable event for a girl as well as for other potential baby’s relatives. But the main trouble is not that the future mother is too young to bring up a baby. The fact is that such a pregnancy is usually caused by some certain problems and this means that the awaited baby is not going to be happy.Though, the age of women is enduring to decrease, as younger women look for to conclude pregnancies.
Even for experts in parenting, teens issues like drug use or alcohol use can’t be overcome easily. Teens will continue to experiment with alcohol at parties, drugs like ecstasy and marijuana, and even solvent abuse.
Deal Teen Drinking
A few of the teen girls on the show admitted to drinking—and drinking so much that they black out. I call it dead girl walking syndrome, which means you’re not dead yet, but you’re killing yourself off. Slowly each time you black out, you’re killing off possibilities. ‘So I’m gonna check out temporarily.
Every time you drink, you’ve got to drink more because the hunger gets bigger and deeper and wider.

Finding an honest agency is a huge help in this process. However, you should know that most of these places, especially the agencies that are based in the FSU, are only interested in separating you from your money. The advice in this chapter will save you much confusion, money and heartache. It is too bad that more Russian women and Ukrainian women do not advertise themselves independently. However, without having an internet connection of their own and with only limited knowledge of English the agency alternative is their most realistic choice. Also, many of these ladies are not aware of how many of these places are only interested in cheating their male clients.
There are a few large US-based agencies dealing with potential Russian brides (or Ukrainian brides). Most of these places are honest businesses and run fairly well. However, they have to cooperate with local agencies within the cities of the FSU. Unfortunately, the big agency may be honest, but the local one may not be so upright. It is important to test all of these agencies before deciding to trust them.
Fire up your internet browser and find a big list of Russian women marriage agencies. You may even find some more general internet dating sites which advertise Russian or Ukrainian women. I seriously suggest that you avoid the general dating sites. They are just not specific enough. Once you have a list of some possible agencies, first compare them to your target area. If you have decided to visit (eventually) Vinnitsa, Ukraine for example, it makes no sense to consider an agency that located 1,000 miles away! After going through this first step you should have a list of several agencies to consider. By this point you have also probably looked through the pictures on these sites. It is normal, but I suggest you not allow the pictures to make your decision for you. Start by giving each website a good general once over. It should have a nice clean look to it. Try to figure out how many profiles they have listed. It should be said that a smaller city may not be able to support a huge number of women’s profiles. However, there should be a sufficient number to give you a good chance of success. If there are any less than 100 women in the age group you are seeking I would run away. Or at least approach that agency with extreme caution (and maybe use another one as your primary source). Does the site appear to be updated regularly? Are outdated profiles removed? You can determine this by looking at the ID numbers. If everything is in strict numeric or alpha-numeric order this is probably not the case. Of course, this method is not always reliable, but it is the best method available to you. You really want the agency to have a physical address listed and an actual phone number. This phone number should be one that works and when you call you actually reach someone in the office. Someone who can speak at least a bit of English. You also want a clear price list and real-time credit card processing. This is very expensive and difficult to get in the FSU. Most scam agencies will simply request you send your money either directly to their bank account or via Western Union. The women should be required to register in person. Of course, this information may not be listed—you may have to send an email and ask this question. I suggest you be a little coy with your questioning. Ask how they know the women are really single and looking for a partner instead of asking if they have to come register in person. The only real way an agency can verify this information is to examine her passport. The next question can be whether or not they look at her passport and other documents in person or if scanned copies are accepted. Finally, you should be able to exchange or obtain full contact details of each woman you are interested in. If you are not able to purchase her physical address and phone number, then at the very least this should not be prohibited in your letters. Many agencies want to be the only point of contact and will not let you get the woman’s full contact details. You need to be able to contact the woman on your own, without the agencies help at all. If you feel like there is no way to get her direct (and complete) contact info, you may want to consider not using this agency. However, if they provide a 3-way calling service (where an interpreter is on the phone with you and your lady), you can call, ask for her phone number then hang up and call her back on your own. Of course, let her know beforehand this is how the call will progress!
It should also be said that even if one or two of these factors are missing, you still may be dealing with a basically honest agency. For example, maybe the agency does require local women to register in person. However, perhaps they also accept a few ladies from out of town. In this case, they will take a scanned copy of her documents. I would just be a little extra careful in dealing with those women from out of town.
After this initial step, some specific questions may have come to your mind. You may also be looking at several agencies that you feel are worth further consideration. So, take your questions and email them. The speed at which they respond will also tell you something. How thorough they are in answering your questions will give you more information. The quality of the English writing will also give you some idea of how good their translations will be. Of course, it may not necessarily be written by an interpreter but still should tell you something about how the agency operates. Which agencies give you a good feeling? Which do you think you would enjoy working with? Ask for some recommendations of some of there male clients. If they refuse to give you any…it may be because they don’t have any! Will you be dealing directly with the owner or office manager, or some other employee? You may also want to ask how many people they have working in the office and what each person does. This will give you a general feel to their operation and also give you a contact name if you have a question or any kind of difficulty in the future. It will also make everything more personal. You will (hopefully) become a person to them, not just a name or a number. This is very important for other reasons as well–namely, they will think you are more serious and more likely to actually make a trip to visit some of their Russian women and/or Ukrainian women.
The next step is to do some further investigating on your own. Search through some of the Russian women (RW) message boards to see if there is any information mentioned at all about any of the agencies you are considering. Bear in mind that many of these places end up being where people who have issues or axes to grind go to vent. Or to start arguments with others. So, look through everything relating to the agencies in question and try to get a feel for the whole discussion before really coming to a decision. You can also search through some of the “black list” sites which try to give information about which agencies are good and which are not. Again, a lot of this can be very subjective. Maybe a man felt that after some time of correspondence his woman should have fallen head over heels in love with him…and she didn’t. They met and things went badly for him, he comes home and posts his story to one of these sites saying this agency scammed him, etc…. Does the site do any kind of investigation before listing this agency as questionable or on its black list? Maybe. Maybe not. Try to find out as much as you can about why the agency is listed. Generally, though, if it is listed someplace like this, you should probably exercise extreme caution in your dealings with them. Just understand that a listing on such a site is not the final word—you should investigate and make your own decision. If you have questions about particular agencies, send me an email. And check the website for updates!
At this point there may be a few (we hope) agencies that are still worth your consideration. If you have not done so already, contact them by telephone. Just see what kind of people they have answering the phones. Just see what kind of “feel” you get from the agency. You should also go back online and do a Google search for each agency. This may reveal some interesting or surprising things.
The above investigation should eliminate most of those agencies that are not above board.

The reality is that people will judge your looks. It is important in learning how to become the person you want to become and get the things you want to get to be willing to adjust and some times even improve your appearance depending on who you are around or what you’re trying to do. Try to always look your best so you always command respect. This section will focus a little more on men because I found that women then to have a better sense of their appearance. Women here are some tips you can share with you man. Also there are a couple things for you as well so take a look. Your appearance speaks volumes about you. People react more to body lanuage than anything spoken word. When you are dating women will evaluate you solely on your appearance. Men do the same as well, but for women your personality more often than not can make up for shortcomings in looks, but you package will determine more than anything how you are received. Since are goal is to put you ahead of the competition we must focus on the basics of your appearance to separate you from the rest.
Also by taking care of your appearance you will raise your own self-confidence when you are looking your best.
Studies have been done to show that when people in the workforce wear dress attire (suits, ties, dresses, etc.) they have a higher productivity. This also is because your attire can greatly boost your self esteem. We feel better about ourselves when we’re able to look our best. It also sends a message to your subconscious – and the people that you are around that you are worthwhile and noteworthy.
Hair
Fore men their hair should be cut neatly. If you choose to have long hair get it trimmed regualry. To get the best results be flexibable to your personal grooming standards. GQ magazine give great examples of in style hairs styles that could work for you. Just make sure you are neatly cut over the ears. If your hair is thinning, you might decide to go super-short or bald.
Baldness is even an asset for many women who are looking for a sign of maturity in their men. Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek) was the hot ticket for women for
Years! Being bald is not the problem , but it’s more about how you carry yourself. He carried himself with such self-confidence and sophistication that he earned many female fans. Make sure to use shampoo and conditioner to keep it soft. Also make sure to look out for dandruff.
Mustaches and beards are stylish, Just make sure the facial hair is not irritating to the woman when you’re kissing her. And trimmed well when you are meeting with people who can help push you toward you dreams and goals. So I stay clean-shaven most of the time..
Nails
Your nails play a significant part in the overall appearance of your hands, and they do
reflect your personality to some degree. Try to keep them trimmed and cut at all times.
Mouth
Your lips should never be dry or chapped. Your teeth and gums should be clean. You can do this the best by brushing after each meal. So keep a little toothpaste and tooth brush with you. Don’t forget to brush your tongue as well. Flossing is also something you must do. Using mouthwash regularly can help keep your mouth clean and destroy gum germs. It is very offensive to have a smelly mouth so if you do these things and still have a problem see a dentist. Try to visit a dentist every six months for a proper cleaning.
If you are a coffee or tea drinker, you should be sure to make sure your teeth are not discolored or stained. There are many bleaching products available do the job for cheap prices.
Skin
Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and is the part you’re most concerned about getting her in contact with. Be sure to do a once-over on your body to ensure that you aren’t too rugged for her. You don’t have to make your skin like velvet, but hard, cracked, callused skin is not attractive to a woman. You want her to want to get close to you, and that means taking care of areas you may not have considered before. Use lotion on your hands and any other areas to get your skin soft enough to handle. If you have any blemishes or acne, there are many products on the market that will help you keep the breakouts to a minimum, and help you make them a little less noticeable.
Remember that women are keenly sensitive to touch, and look forward to touching men they’re interested in.
Hygiene
Hygiene is a very important area that sometimes is not focus enough so here are some tips to keep in mind. , but it’s very important that you be aware of more than just the visual and tactile parts of your appearance. Here are just a few of the more unattractive sounds men make that decrease a woman’s attraction to them:
- Snorting and Burping should not be done in front of people you’re trying to make a good impression on. Even though some still find farting funny please try not to fart because it shows immaturity and a lack of sophistication if down in front of anyone other than your friends. Consider your diet and a medicinal supplement to help your with your digestion if you can’t control it.
A turn-off for women is the B.O. Body odor is unattractive to all. Some men just don’t
shower enough, some be mindful of how much you shower because it can make a difference. Deodorant is a requirement for your armpits. You should use antiperspirants if you sweat a lot for working out or other activities. If you are going to use cologne or after-shave, be sure to use a high-quality scent. Try to find something that suits you and is different enough to stand out. Most men use some variety of the Calvin Klein brand, but there are many that are unique and appealing. Apply just enough to give off a slight scent. Don’t over do it!
Shoes and Clothes
Women and everyone else looks at your shoes. So pay attention to your shoes. Go to a discount store that sells many of the brand names on sale. You can get a long-lasting pair of shoes for around $50 or now with ebay you can sometimes get them for cheaper than that. Keep your shoes shined and in good condition. Socks match your pant color, not the shoes, and the belt matches the shoes. When it comes to clothes, keep it simple especially if you don’t have any understanding of fashion. You don’t have to be Mr. Armani to look decent, especially if you stick to the basics. Black is always good. Black makes you look slim, it’s always in, it’s hard to stain, and it goes with everything.
Another part of your overall fashion appearance is to keep your lines clean. This means
that, aside from choosing a good fit from your clothes, you should keep the creases and
contours of your clothes smooth so that they look as if they fit well. Don’t carry large objects like a wallet in your pockets. Other examples are like your cell phone, a pager, a Palm Pilot. Also please Iron your clothers because it makes such a difference.
Here are some items you should have wardrobe:
Buy one pair of pants in navy blue, olive, tan, charcoal, and black. (5 Total)
Buy one black, one light or medium blue, and one shirt of a color that works for you. Buy
two white, long-sleeve dress shirts (Oxford pinpoint, button-down collar). (5 Total) Increase your shirts as needed. These colors should give you a great deal of combining options. When you can afford it, a sport coat or two should be added in to the mix, but in the meantime, a simple black jacket will suffice.
Physical Fitness
I will be writing soon more articles on personal fitness but for now just know that make working out you add years to your life. I recommend a subscription to Men’s Health or a similar fitness magazine that talks about health. Or you can subcribe to are health newsletter that for 10 dollars you can receive a daily newsletter for a year. Your body is a temple so please take care of it. Also know that your physical fitness level is a very obvious indicator of your attitude toward life and yourself, and women and many other people look to this to figure out how they’ll treat you.
Posture
There are many behavioral cues you can use to demonstrate self-confidence, style, and
sophistication. Posture is a very good way to indicate to people that you are self-confident. Don’t hurry your sentences along, inserting uhms and uhs everywhere. Take your time. Pause between things you want to carry more emphasis. It’s not always what you say that’s important; it’s how you say it. Also know that the way you move is a direct reflection of your personality. If you walk hunched over, avoiding people’s eyes, you appear unsure and insecure. You want to stand up straight, chest out, and with a quick and sure pace.
Many men don’t have a very secure looking pose when they’re just standing. Many men on the covers of catalogs or GQ magazine are actually very confident and statuesque so copy their pose until you find a more comfortable one for you. Your ability to look calm and confident when standing still is important.
Also remember to use the power of smiling. Smiling can break down defenses and also Smiling also says you’re sure of yourself.
