Why am I so embarrassed to tell them? I was raised in a strict family, so when I bring these things up I feel weird. I can’t even explain it. Its almost nervous because I know I will be questioned. Anyone else have this? I feel like I’m 22 and shouldnt have to worry about it. They’ve never really seen me with a guy, maybe that is why? I always keep things on the down low.
Don’t tell them you’re dating someone unless it gets serious. Just tell them you’re out with friends.
Living with strict parents is difficult especially when you’re 22. If you’ve dated before try telling them about that. Break the ice on this status quo. Let them know about former relationships/dates so you can start to talk. If it gets difficult let us know

I wanna know. It’s important!
I’d take girly boy meticulousness and flamboyance over Mr. Macho leather jacket Iron Maiden listening smelly bastard tough dude, any day.
Truth be told, it doesn’t matter how you look. Being a straight guy doesn’t mean you need to act or appear aggressive to be a man. A soft, caring disposition is more appealing to me than general impatience. If that makes one look gay, then so be it.
