Me and this guy dated for a year and when we broke up he started to loosen up and ended up having sex with six girls in a six month period. Now we are talking again and I don’t know if I can handle knowing about his past. I don’t believe in sex with random people. I think it should be out of love, and I’m really strict with my beliefs… what should I do?
Sounds like maybe you thought you loved him and had sex with him.
You probably won’t be able to forget he has had sex with six girls. He sounds like he has established a new pattern that you don’t want.
Before there’s any intimacy, Insist that he be tested and bring you a clean bill of health. Unless you want to risk acquiring anything from herpes to gonorrhea to AIDS.
And make you won’t get pregnant unless you are willing and able to bring up a child to a good life.
Dating someone who wants more sex means wrestling physically and emotionally, morally, and quite possibly getting worn down into doing things you really don’t want to do. It was that way for me.
If the feelings about sex are different, I think the relationship has no good future.
